Rates and Fees

Electricity Rates
Utilities Kingston is responsible for supplying, distributing and metering electricity in the City Central.  Other areas of the City are served by Hydro One Networks and rates may be obtained by calling their Customer Communications Centre at 1-888-664-9376. Monday to Friday 7:30a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Natural Gas Rates
Natural gas is available from Utilities Kingston and Union Gas.

Water and Sewage Rates
Utilities Kingston is responsible for supplying, distribution and metering water and for collecting, pumping and treating sewage for the entire City of Kingston.

Development Fees
The City of Kingston has waived development charges and impost fees for all industrial and some office commercial developments.  A full description and timetable for implementation of these fees can be found by clicking on Development Fees.
