NEW - The City of Kingston has introduced a Property Assessment & Tax Levy Lookup Tool. Now residents can quickly find out the assessed value of their homes and other properties - and the taxes levied on those properties. Entering the address of a property will offer lawyers, real estate agents and residents ready access to a property's tax roll number; a map view of a property's location; the yearly taxes levied on a property; the tax class and assessed value of a property; and, the recent tax levy history.

Eastern Ontario Development Fund NEW!!! Provides financial assistance to promote the retention, expansion and attraction of business in eastern Ontario through support for capital spending, skills development, infrastructure needs and other related economic development initiatives.The EODF will provide $80 million over four years focusing on: helping businesses create jobs and invest in new technologies, new equipment or skills training; and, supporting local exonomic development projects that will attract or retain investment and lead to job creation. The fund is open to businesses will 10 employees or more.
Cooperative Education Tax Credit (CETC) Provides a tax credit for 10 per cent of salary or wage to a maximum of $1,000 per three month work placement for student in cooperative education or leading-edgbe technology programs.
Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) The National Research Council provides a wage subsidy which enables technology based small/medium-sized enterprises to hire recent graduates for six months.
Ontario Job Connect Provides a wage subsidy to enable employers to hire and provide on-th-job-training. This program is provided by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
Federal Targeted Wage Subsidy Provides a wage subsidy for up to on year (maximum 60 per cent of wages paid), to hire individuals re-entering the workforce.
Ontario Employer Heath Tax (EHT) Provides eligible employers exemption from paying Employer Health Tax on some, or all, of their annual total Ontario payroll.
