Finding Reliable Partner in China: SinoScan Information Session

Kingston Economic Development Corporation is hosting an information session led by Dean Bellefleur, PMP, Managing Director SinoScan Inc. Dean will provide an overview the services provided by SinoScan Group, a global engineering company specialized in design, production engineering, sourcing and assembly of custom-engineered parts and products in China (sinoscan.ca). This will be followed by a discussion on how find reliable business partners in China.
Starting a Creative Business |
Starting a Creative Business is a one-day workshop for artists/creative professionals from all artistic disciplines thinking about starting a business. It provides the basic tools of creating, developing and putting together a solid creative business idea that will shape the business plan.
Through interactive, reflective, and writing activities that correlate with a workbook, participants get to step into the business mind frame and leave with the key components of their business more clearly defined.
Market research tells a company whether they are meeting customers' demands and expectations. The third workshop introduces marketing planning fundamentals. There is a particular focus on tools and techniques associated with effective marketing research. Join us for this two hour workshop and learn how to identify and research your audience!

Kingston EcDev and the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce annually induct local citizens into the Kingston Business Hall of Fame to recognize their outstanding contributions to our community. Join us as we recognize the lifetime achievements of these distinguished citizens.
The inductees have helped shape our region through their business success, entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropic contributions. They are role models for our society.
Inductees are nominated by their peers and selected by an independent committee. The Chamber and Kingston Economic Development Corporation oversee the inductee nomination process and selection committee.
