Shopify at Innovation Park

Kingston EcDev has partnered with local Shopify Guru, Carissa Cosgrove to provide monthly one-on-one sessions with individuals looking to explore Shopify as an e-commerce platform. Carissa provides support in areas ranging from platform training and development to presence at events.  Individual sessions will be offered on Wednesdays between 9:30am-3:00pm.

Financial Ability & Expectations 

So you want to start your own business but aren’t sure how to get the money for it. Well this course will provide you with an understanding of the financial statements you can expect to have, as well as some resources you can use to be able to budget your costs. We will show you an example of a start up and their costs that way you can get an idea of how much it will cost. This course will also give you a list of places that you can get a funding start up from and how to fund for your venture. Finances are a big part of owning your business and you will want to be able to make a profit. At the end of this course you should be able to come out of it with a better idea of how to set your budgets and allocate costs.
