BRAINMASS HEADLINES ANNUAL BRIDGES TO BETTER BUSINESS CONFERENCE

Kingston, ON – Grant Goodwin, founder of BrainMass Inc., an online community of graduate-level minds and provider of e-learning services for university students around the world will be presenting at the annual Bridges to Better Business Conference hosted by The Entrepreneurship Centre at KEDCO.

Since 2001, Goodwin has been involved in the perpetual building, marketing and analysis of BrainMass.com eBusiness. His unique experience as a pioneer in the emerging realm of knowledge-brokering has been enabled by his hands-on experience in the trenches of e-business operations throughout this decade. In his presentation, “Being Online in 2009: A crash course in website management for SME’s,” Grant will provide managers with the key knowledge and tools they must have to make their web presence work for them in the current online environment.

Goodwin is one of four dynamite entrepreneurs headlining the Bridges to Better Business Conference on Tuesday, February 24. Other speakers include Geoff Garden, of PACE Advisory speaking on business strategy and planning; motivational speaker Lisa Sansom, LVS Consulting; and, Betty Ann Howard, Certified Financial Planner with IPG Kingston Inc.

The one-day conference, taking place in Davies Hall at St. Lawrence College, is designed to provide resources and information that small business owners need to steer their companies through the current economy. The $50 conference fee includes the four presentations, a Q&A panel, trade show and lunch. To register, please call 613-544-2725 ext. 228 to pay by credit card or email entrepreneurship@kingstoncanada.com to pay by cheque.
