Primary and Secondary Schools
Kingston is serviced by the Limestone and Algonquin/Lakeshore school boards.

Limestone District School Board is a nondenominational board which serves over 23,000 students at our 55 elementary and 11 secondary schools, as well as the Limestone School of Community Education. French immersion is offered at 14 of the schools.

The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board serves over 13,200 students in its elementary, seconday and special adult retraining and life skills programs.  Several ALCDSB schools offer early and late French immersion programs.
